Since 1985 I have been involved with and helped to establish and raise funds for many of the local and government bodies and agencies I have been connected to. I have quietly behind the scenes donated my time and my art to assist with much needed funds to keep these vital  groups running and help those who need them. These NFP's (Not For Profit) organisations and charities are a VITAL part of all our communities

I have done all of this not for anything but the knowledge that something I created helped those at a time they needed it most.

Free Art Friday was my favourite - once every month on a Friday I anonymously left a piece of artwork, with only my initials and date on it, wrapped in bright paper with a letter attached explaining what the art work or item was and why I had left it there and a little sign saying - 'FREE ART FRIDAY - Please take me I am YOURS' attached to it - at local cafes, under park benches, the beach, the police station, court house, Local Government Buildings and shopping centres.

I had stopped doing this in 2017 with the arrival of our youngest but have now decided to start this up all over again this time once a month (our world is too dark and shady these days) - my way of adding a little colour to our world and giving thanks without praise or recognition! Next time you are about and about, look around you - You just never know - if you happen to see this little parcel - please accept it from me to you - with hope - for a brighter day.
